GrewpEdit v1.0

GrewpEdit is a tool developed by the GREWP (Groupware Research in Education and the Workforce Project) team in the Computer Science Department at Brandeis University to support shared editing: It has been developed as part of a research project funded by the National Science Foundation under Grant No. EIA-0082393. 4/4/2005 -- GrewpEdit Beta 1.1b Added interactive output!
Now you can pass input to a running process through the textfield next to the 'Eval / Run' button of the CodeDocument.
4/1/2005 -- GrewpEdit Beta 1.1a (Fixed J2SE 5.0 problem and a few other updates)
- CodeDocument: Fixed output area blurry color bug, added automatic save request on compile and moved the stop button to the other side of the input textfield.
- Chat: Added directed chat messages, now you can select to send to a specific user or to the whole group. Also added a Save Chat menu item.
- Updated the RendezvousServer tab of the login window. It now has a 'Connect to default Server' button as well as perminent default host and port textfields.
3/21/2005 -- GrewpEdit now has a CodeDocument grewplet that has Java and C capabilites providing you have them installed. It also has Scheme and a very primative HTML viewer.
3/21/2005 -- Added a FAQ page that needs to grow (send email to kgg@cs.brandeis.edu)
10/16/2004 -- GrewpEdit demonstrated at CCSCE
4/28/2004 -- GrewpEdit v1.0.4 released
(new users now see all old chat messages, grewp-panel has a global chat, slight changes to user interface)
